Admissions Coordination

The Admissions Department has five campus staff as well as six regional liaisons responsible for the seamless placement of youth at George Junior Republic in Pennsylvania.

The department is responsible for all referring agency interactions, including, but not limited to:

  • Admissions
  • Program Transfers
  • Court Hearings
  • Agency Visitation
  • Tours of Campus
  • Discharges

Regional Liaisons are assigned territories in various states, such as California, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia.  They assist referring agencies and court systems with making new referrals, reviewing material, gathering necessary medical documentation, interviewing and assessing program needs of new referrals, attend commitment hearings for potential youth and meet with parents when appropriate.

Admissions staff members are available to assist with communication and/or needs that arise regarding potential current or discharged youth.

Questions regarded George Junior Republic's admissions process should be directed to the Vice President of Support and Community Based Programs at 724-458-9330, ext. 2101.
