Bringing Our Treatment Services to the Client
Our program’s philosophy is to bring treatment services to clients and their families in their homes, schools, and communities rather than schedule appointments in an office. Our workers are able to access clients and provide services in an intensive manner in multiple settings. This approach has met with considerable success, and, as a result, our programs have expanded significantly.
24-Hour Crisis Care
The Preventative Aftercare programs employ social workers who have frequent contact with youth and their families and schools. Additionally, our staff makes weekly contact with the referring agency and appears in court whenever necessary. Social workers are available 24 hours a day in the event of a crisis. Our intensive treatment programs utilize youth and family stipends, along with activity funds, as a tool for positive reinforcements in motivating clients. Finally, social workers network on behalf of the client within the community for any treatment services they cannot provide themselves.
Our clientele includes dependent, neglected, and adjudicated delinquent youth as well as their families. The specifics of the program are determined by the contracting agency. Youth in our programs, both male and female, range in age from infancy to 21 years. Caseload size ranges from seven to 12 youth.
