Career and Technical education is taught by Grove City Area School District teachers and is open to youth placed in the General Residential and youth in the Special Needs program, based on Treatment Team recommendation. Each student participant in the career and technical program spends three out of eight period each school day receiving vocational training in addition to the other required academic coursework. The career and technical program is closely aligned with the organization's mission of helping at risk youth develop into successful adults capable of achieving a higher degree of citizenship.
Providing Access to the Latest Technology and Equipment
Vocational education is continually updated to include the latest techniques in order to stay current with industry standards. Students are eligible for industry recognized certifications in each shop. For those students interested in pursuing technical education, placement and scholarship assistance is available for qualifying students.
