While George Junior Republic is not a faith based organization, we recognize the importance of faith among many of the youth on our campus. We believe in a holistic approach of support and treatment regardless of religious affiliation. Chaplain services provide non-denominational spiritual support and education to our youth, ranging from Sunday youth services and prayer to individual spiritual guidance upon request. The Chaplain’s office is located in the recreation center, and the campus chapel is open to all who wish to worship.
In addition, students from the Grove City College New Life program are invited to meet weekly with youth on a voluntary basis. Their mission is to assist youth in learning more about their faith and to provide spiritual mentoring. Both our Chaplaincy service and our collaboration with New Life are areas of continued support where guidance and encouragement assist our youth to set positive goals and work on being productive members of society.
