Over Labor Day weekend, GJR in PA welcomed alumnus Larry Archinal returning to visit our campus. Larry was a resident in the late 1970s and had fond memories of the culinary program, the farm, and the equine therapy program. He and his wife, Susan, toured the campus and commented on the numerous changes that have occurred over the past 45 years. Susan even recognized a photo of young Larry displayed in the history room.

Larry shared that his time at GJR made a real difference in the direction of his life. After leaving GJR, Larry returned home to finish high school and later attended Edinboro College. He went on to work as a retail manager and devoted most of his time to his family. The couple calls Bethel Park their home and regularly donates to charitable organizations, including GJR in PA.
