About LTSR

Long‐Term Structured Residences (LTSR) are highly structured therapeutic residential mental health treatment facilities designed to treat individuals 18 years and older who are eligible for hospitalization but who can receive adequate care in an LTSR. 55 Pa. Code Chapter 5320
 
Our 15-bed facility serves individuals who have been diagnosed with serious mental illness and are involved with the court system. Competence restoration will be an active focus of the treatment plan for each resident so that they are able to address and resolve legal matters.

Services

Structured services offered include psychiatric evaluation and treatment, group and individual psychotherapy, medication education, competency restoration, peer support services, and psychiatric rehabilitative services. This array of services is designed to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in the environment of choice for each resident.
 
The LTSR has a large gymnasium and access to: a rock-climbing wall, low and high ropes course, movie theater, billiards and game room, outdoor swimming pool, religious chapel, and other activities.

Staffing

Staff members are present in the residence around the clock to provide support and maintain a comfortable and safe environment in order to facilitate recovery.
 
Staffing includes: Program Director, Mental Health Technicians, Certified Peer Specialists, Mental Health Professionals, Psychiatrist, Nurses, and a Case Manager.
