George Junior Republic Preventative Aftercare

The Preventative Aftercare program accepts referrals in for in-home, community-based, services to youth, families and adults in contracted counties throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio. Services provided are available to both males and females, from infancy through adulthood. 

  • Please provide referrals directly to the assigned Regional Supervisor/Director in your area.
  • Referrals will be assessed for appropriateness of youth to be maintained in their home with structured routine and support systems.
  • Each Preventative Aftercare program will accept referrals based upon the contractual agreement in the designate county or state.

Restore

The Restore Program is structured to provide services to male and female reentrants who identify as having low to high-risk ratings on the Ohio Risk Assessment System (ORAS), have financial obligations to the county, and must satisfy victim program requirements.

 

Restore will teach participants how to support themselves positively while making direct amends to victims and the community.

Mobile Medication

This program focuses on supporting adults with serious mental illnesses. The community-based program currently serves Washington County Health Choices members.

Intensive

This service is focused on maintaining permanency to avoid out-of-home placement when appropriate. If out-of-home care becomes necessary, this service supports youth and families in reunification once placement is terminated.

Parenting Inside Out (PIO)

Parenting Inside Out (PIO) is a cognitive-behavioral, group parenting skills training program grounded in social learning theory and the parent management training model.

 

PIO addresses the unique situation and issues of criminal-justice and systems-involved parents (substance abuse, child welfare).
