The Theater 

The Program Center features a full movie theater room complete with rows of comfortable seating, a large projection screen, and equipment for group movie nights, educational films, or special presentations. Whether youth are unwinding after school or enjoying a themed weekend event, the theater offers a shared experience that builds positive peer relationships and gives staff new opportunities to connect.

Recreation Designed for Connection: Pool, Games, and More

Just steps away from the theater, the recreation area hosts multiple pool tables where youth practice friendly competition and sportsmanship. Pool games naturally become spaces for teamwork, encouragement, and playful banter—key elements in helping youth build healthy social skills.

Nearby, video game stations line the wall, offering another outlet for interactive fun. Multiplayer games spark connection, cooperation, and laughter—reminding youth that positive, structured recreation can be both enjoyable and relationship-building.

A Place to Celebrate Milestones

Birthdays are important, and at the Program Center, they are treated as meaningful celebrations. The designated party area, complete with counter-height seating, TVs, and space for snacks, becomes a place where youth feel valued and supported. Sitting in the barber’s chair gives them a moment to feel cared for—an essential piece of the CARE model’s commitment to dignity and positive identity formation.

The Campus Commissary: A Trusted Stop for Essentials

Just around the corner, the campus commissary provides youth with everyday items and small comforts. From hygiene products to snacks and activity materials, the commissary reinforces independence and responsible decision-making. Staff use this space to teach budgeting skills, encourage healthy choices, and strengthen adult-youth relationships through supportive interactions.
